At Knowledge Perk, we aim to make our customers a part of the experience, from the annual Coffee Weekender event and roasting competition to brewing demonstrations in our cafés. That same level of customization is available to our wholesale partners as well. While we do offer our full line up of Knowledge Perk Signature Blends and Single Origins, we are excited to offer our customers the opportunity to craft their own unique profile that we then supply. Service & Support
We know that selecting a coffee provider is about more than just great coffee; you want to know that you have support when something inevitably goes wrong. At Knowledge Perk, we commit to being there for you in every way that we can. While we do not have the staffing to support our own service techs, we have partnered with the professionals that can. From service recommendations, to just being available to answer the phone and help you work through your issue, to getting you that emergency order roasted and delivered asap, we will do what we can to ensure you and the customers/employees you serve are taken care of.
Training & Equipment
Knowledge Perk is committed to ensuring that you don’t just have the freshest roasted coffee in your area, but also that your team knows how to brew it to get the most out of it. Whether you are just adding a machine to your office or you are building your own coffee shop from the ground up, we have been there and done that. We are partnered with industry experts across the Southeast to bring you the most choices and the best equipment. Then, we will make sure you know how to use it and maintain it. Depending on the situation, you can come train with us in our lab and coffee shop, or we provide as needed onsite training as well.
FAQ
What is the length of your typical contract?
We are firm believers that our product and service should speak for itself, and so most times we do not require a contract. However, if the scope of work and service offered is large enough, an annual contract may be needed.
When will my order roast and ship?
We currently roast Monday through Friday. Typically, an order received after 12pm will be roasted on the next upcoming roast day, and then will be packaged and shipped out (or delivered) within 48 hours of being roasted.
Do you offer Organic and Fair Trade coffees?
Knowledge Perk’s roasting facilities are not certified organic, so we are not able to label our coffees Fair Trade Organic (FTO). However, the coffees we purchase through Direct Trade are typically farmed and processed using organic practices. Unfortunately, many of the farmers we work with are not able to afford the certifications, even if their product does meet the guidelines. This is one of the many areas we are working to educate our customers on, as well as work with importers and farmers to change that certification process. We are happy to answer any questions about this, feel free to reach out to us directly.
What's the order minimum?
We currently only have a minimum order quantity of ten pounds but are happy to find a solution that works for you if you are just starting out.
What's the best way to place my order?
As soon as we establish a partnership, you will have access to your own portal that you can log into and place your order from.
What can you tell me about your coffee pricing?
Our coffees are frequently rotating with various price points, some dependent on volume. We try to keep our pricing lists as updated as possible and would love the opportunity to chat with you about your needs and how we can help.
