Knowledge Perk was founded in Rock Hill, SC in 2018 by Ryan Sanderson with Jordan Herring coming on board as a full partner just a couple years later. While the original roastery has expanded into a new location, all coffee is still roasted in Rock Hill, SC.

2018
The Knowledge Perk journey begins with the opening of our first café in Rock Hill, creating a welcoming space centered around exceptional coffee and community.
2021
Knowledge Perk expanded its presence to Bank of America Stadium, bringing our coffee experience to an even larger audience.
2021
We began our first collegiate partnership with App State, creating new opportunities to bring Knowledge Perk coffee into campus life.
2023
Knowledge Perk partnered with Charlotte FC, expanding our presence within the Charlotte community and connecting coffee with the energy of the city's soccer culture.
2023
Our journey continued with an expansion into Columbia, introducing Knowledge Perk to a new community and growing our regional presence.
2024
We introduced our first canned coffee, bringing the Knowledge Perk experience beyond our cafés and into a convenient ready-to-enjoy format.
2026
Knowledge Perk opened its first drive-thru location in Little River, creating a new way for guests to enjoy their favorite coffee on the go.

We expanded our ready-to-drink offerings with canned lattes, bringing more of the Knowledge Perk coffee experience to customers wherever they are.

Knowledge Perk continued building meaningful collegiate relationships through partnerships with Coastal Carolina and Wofford.
